By focusing on our values and allowing these to guide our decision making, we can increase our sense of control in the world. Although many things may be outside our control right now, keep coming back to your values and let these guide your actions.  

You now have the mindfulness skills you need to continue coming back into the present moment in order to make conscious, values-based decisions to guide your actions. 

You understand that it is often our thoughts that create our emotions, and you know how to check whether these thoughts are facts, find helpful alternative statements and mindfully step back from these problematic thoughts. 

You’ve learn how to listen to the body and reduce physical tension and stress in the body: using the breath and regular practice of physical relaxation. 

I hope that these teachings will continue to guide you to navigate the uncertainties of life, both now but also into the future. We never know what the future holds, we can only make the best of the moment we have: Now.

Many psychologists are now offering services online, making accessing a psychologist easier than ever before - from wherever you are! 

Contact your local GP or Family Doctor who will be able to refer you to a psychologist. You can also check with the national psychological association or society in your country for a psychologist in your area.
